$BOOM and $BGEM tokens and smart contracts are ERC-20 compatible standards where the token and smart contracts are interoperable between most EVM wallets, such as MetaMask, and the user experience will be just as seamless as with any blockchain.

Playable NFTs

Game characters and unique artifacts are ERC-721 compatible standards. It is a non-fungible token, or NFT, where each token is unique and contains only one of its kind worldwide, or as the market calls it, "1-of-1".

In the case of upgrading or leveling up, there are two possible scenarios:

1. Updating attributes on the same character. The ERC-721 standard allows us to update the metadata of the NFT itself without tampering with the integrity of the NFT. This is an on-chain process. The history and other related metadata of the update can be found on the Boomland platform itself in an off-chain process.

2. Upgrading into a new superior character. In this case, the old NFT will be burned, and a new one with a new address and attributes will be minted and automatically sent to the owner's wallet. The relation of the new to the old NFT for proof of authenticity can be added as on-chain metadata of the NFT.

Game items are ERC-1155 (Semi Fungible Token) compatible standards. Like ERC-721, it is a non-fungible token (NFT); however, it comes with a feature where the contract allows dynamic metadata and multiple 'copies' of the same NFT to be created and distributed efficiently at a meager gas fee. In other words, it is for non-unique NFT assets to be made as a collection.

During the summon process, the equipment or artifacts used to summon the character will get burned.
