Hunters
Hunters are fierce characters that love to play, battle, and hunt for treasure! Build a collection and use them as your entry point to start building value in the World of BoomLand. From a pool of 75 billion unique possibilities, Hunters with unique characteristics will be available to help players conquer and explore a rich and diverse ecosystem!
Each playable hunter in Hunters On-Chain is a non-fungible token (NFT) which players can get from the initial minting, second-hand marketplace, certain Hunt Boxes, or from Summoning.
Summoning the Hunters
Players will be able to create new Hunters in a process called “Summoning”, where they use 5 specific NFTs called "Equipment" and $BOOM tokens to create a new Hunter. Players will also need to lock down two Hunters to initiate the summoning.
The recipes for creating specific Hunters will be available for players.
Summoning Recipes: Recipes for creating specific Hunter Types will be available for players. But to keep the process uncheatable, fair, and luck-dependent, each recipe will have a maximum success rate of 80% if each Item used has the Legendary rarity. The Higher the quality of each ingredient the more chance the summoning will create the intended Hunter.
Summoning Process: To start the process of summoning, the player is required to lock for some time period two Heroes that will use the Items and summon a new Hero. The time that is required to finish the summoning process is based on the rarity and level of the two Heroes assigned to the process.
The rarity of the Summoned Hero: This will depend on the rarity of the Item used. Using only LEGENDARY Items will guarantee at least an Epic Hero or better.
Note: Hunters locked in the process cannot be played but will not be burned during the summoning. They will be available again once the summon is complete
Upgrading the Hunters
Upgrading is a process in Hunters On-Chain where players can increase their Hunters’ Level by collecting Hunter Shards - a type of NFT that can only be found in Hunt Boxes or bought directly from other players. Upgrading the Hunter level increases the Hunters’ in-game attributes, as well as increasing the Maximum Hunt limit and BitGem ($BGEM) earnings. Each Hunter type has its own unique Hunter Shard with varying rarities.
Hunt Limits
Hunters in Hunters On-Chain have different daily hunt limits depending on the rarity. Upgrading the Hunters to higher levels will increase these caps by a percentage depending on the rarity.
Borrowing / Lending Hunters
BoomLand aims to be the first metaverse that enables players without initial investment to start their journey on the Play And Earn world. As such, it is imperative that the greatest obstacle that withholds millions of casual players should be removed, letting the players start earning without any payment or initial investment.
This is why the borrowing/lending system is crucial to BoomLand’s ecosystem, where players will be able to lend their hunters to other players within a given time period, creating a player-owned system where the Lender will set the terms of the rental such as the agreed fee or time. And Borrowers can pick their favorite hunters to play.
This is especially useful for casual players who are not familiar with “scholarship” or “guild” terms, as well as guilds/clans for an easier way to run scholarship programs using this native ecosystem function.
